NoBA NEWS ALERT GREENSBURG, KANSAS ASSISTANCE NEEDED |
ATTENTION ALL ASSOCIATIONAL OFFICESThe Network of Baptist Associations (NoBA) Executive Director, Eddie Miller, has requested that the following information be distributed nationwide regarding emergency assistance following the recent tornados and flooding in Kansas.
The greatest needs in Kansas right now are for financial resources. If individuals, churches or associations can assist, send contributions to:

- Buying/renting storage pods to store items recovered by victims of the storms. With over 90% of the affected area destroyed, there is no place to house items recovered.
- Buying gas cards for ministers / families / others that may need fu
- el to minister in the area.
- Buying grocery and clothing store gift cards for the purchase of essential items by victims.
- Keith Bryant, local Director of Associational Missions (for Central Baptist Association) and NoBA member, has made the following prayer requests:
- He started serving on the Victim Assessment Team on Tuesday morning. He request prayer for knowledge, strength, wisdom, and the ability to know how to help victims.
- Pray also for his sensitivity to God’s timing in sharing his faith and the hope of Christ.

- Bob Mills, Kansas/Nebraska State Missions Director, request prayer for volunteers in the community. As of Tuesday morning, there was still limited access to the devastated areas. In addition to the Kansas / Nebraska Disaster Relief units, several other Disaster Relief units are on standby and ready to be activitated.
